Set-up Instructions |

CAUTION! DO NOT PLUG YOUR IP-PHONE
INTO THE USB PORT YET!
Locate your receipt that has your unique IP-Phone
number and password.
*If you do not have MSN Messenger installed on
your PC, PLEASE DO SO NOW BY CLICKING
HERE and
following the directions. IP-Phone uses technology
that was developed by Microsoft that gives IP-Phone
it's unmatched audio quality. NOTE THAT YOU DO
NOT HAVE TO REGISTER MSN MESSENGER, JUST LOAD IT
INTO YOU COMPUTER. |

When you complete the MSN Messenger installation,
Install the IP-Phone application by CLICKING ON
THE INSTALL BUTTON TO THE RIGHT . Note: Always
choose to Open/Run the application. |

Now you can plug either end of the USB Cable
into your IP-Phone and then into the computer USB
Port.
Windows will give you a “Found New Hardware” Message.
Just follow the instructions and you may be asked
to insert your original Windows CD. Please do so
and continue to follow instructions. When complete,
Start Your IP-Phone Application by clicking on
the Windows Start button and then clicking on the
phone ICON at the top of your start menu. When
IP-Phone is running, you will see a small phone
icon in the system tray. You can double-click on
that icon at any time to pop up the IP-Phone application.
*** The first time you run your IP-Phone application
it may error due to an invalid IP-Phone number
and password. Click on Profile and enter the appropriate
information and “Click
OK” after a
couple of seconds you should see the READY status
and your current account Balance.
*** You should run the Tuning Wizard each time
you plug IP-Phone into the USB Port. You need to
select "USB Phone" as the default microphone
and speaker to insure your IP-Phone works properly.
This Wizard allows you to test the microphone and
speaker in the IP-Phone. You can test your IP-Phone
at anytime by clicking the Tuning Wizard button. |

To Make IP-Phone Calls |

Calls to the USA and Canada:
Enter 1+ the area code and number to dial, anywhere
in the United States and Canada. (Example: 12125551212
calls New York, remember no dash or space between
numbers ever!)
Calls to International Numbers:
Exactly as you dial them today, just enter 011+
country code + the number to dial any number outside
of North America. (Ex: 011526646782609 call to
Mexico)
IP-Phone-to-IP-Phone calling:
Enter the 9-digit number of the IP-Phone you want
to call. (Ex: 333111444) (No leading “1” or “0” required
as the IP-Phone numbers are special 9 digit numbers). |
